Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Feeling kinda snappy...feeling kinda punchy...

Feel like pissing some people off but I don't know how...

Feel like being a thread starter....

Is it because the weather is tickling my spine and I am not on my bike...? Is it because this guy Botto has jumped into my body and taking over...?

Is it because I don't have a blue star next to my name? Do I have BDG on the mind?

Help me please...! I feel like I need to be in a stand up sprint thrashing through my gears, even if it means getting my ass kicked...I feel like I need to be putting my bike back on my truck and looking for that towel to sit on because I am covered in sweat and have nothing left in my legs and I have dry, crusted snot all over the rim of my nose...

WTF is wrong with me and why do I have to WORK to make a living? WTF!?!?!?!

mental health day FTW!
If it wasn't snowing and -6, I'd think about taking off on a ride.
They're predicting below freezing for the rest of the week. uggg....

I've said it once and I'll say it again...When they call her mother nature, it makes prefect sense! She is the biggest baddest tease around. Last week I'm out doing rides in just shorts, a jersey and vest, and everything is smelling and looking like spring. Fast forward to the end of this week when they are calling for temps around 0C and more snow!

ARGH!!! I hate spring in Canada....Especially around here...We go from 6 months of crap, to 3 months of heat! There is no slow build up anymore. It's like she's sitting in front of a switch and when early June rolls around she says 'ok winter is done, let's crank up the heat!'

not to mention I WISH I could commute to work. I have to have my vehicle for work and have way too much gear with me to be able to pull it off. I get jealous seeing people commuting onto work...

You didn't capitalize the "i" in your sentence --- that infuriates me beyond all belief.

Nope. Blue outranks red. Blue can delete threads, ban people, etcetera... For April Fool's day, we all got blue stars but no power.

well. I just got my new road bike yesterday. Perfect weather for a ride varying from 68 in the sun to 63 in the shade. Not a genuine cloud in the sky (those jet contrails are not genuine clouds). So HAH HAH and neener neener to you. I live in the sun.

Red stars are the best and we outnumber the blue stars. Send Joe Gardner a pile of money and he'll give you a red star.

Then you get to ask Rad about when his bike frame will be back from the paintshop(what is it? two+ years or so?)
