Is Shimano 2200 the same as Sora
I've been receiving some confusing information about these two groups. I know 2200 is bottom of the barrel but i'm heard its outdated sora components.
Also, I heard sora group is upgrading to 9 speed rear cog this year, would that mean that group would head down to 2200 level?

2200 is typically found on hybrids...although Trek used 2200 are the front derailleur on the 1000 road bike.
