Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Trying to find a good route. Time is of the esence

Hey guys and gals. I am going to a friends house tonight for a BBQ at 5pm. He lives roughly 40 miles from me which depending on climbing should be anywhere from a 2.5 to 3.5 hour ride (I am slooooow in the hills after taking way too much time off this winter.)

I am trying to find a good route that takes me from the Palmdale/Lancaster/Acton/Santa Clarita area down to his place in Tujunga so that I can get in a good ride today.

Problem being I don't know of any good routes to get there.

Any help would be much apreciated!

~Mike

Suggest you take this over to the SoCal forum (see the top of the home page).
