New Kits, what you think?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New Kits, what you think?

Wanted to see what you all thought of the kits? Also I need to start making sketches for next year, got any suggestions?

was gonna post more pics for comparisons, but they are too large. The jersey just has a big power T on it, I will try to get more up here asap.

Also, if there are any alums out there check out our website. Our server has been a bit screwy but it will be updated soon. https://web.utk.edu/~cycling/

Very nice, plus extra OCP points for the helmet and socks! If I had gone to that school, I would buy one. For now I'll stick the blue and white of PSU.

Is that a stock helmet color or did you have a painter shoot them to match?

I think Texas's burnt orange is a little darker than Tennessee's.

The orange helmet is a stock color, one of the Trek. Other than the Specialized shoes I have not seen another orange pair or else I would try to get a pair of those. The bike is a Fuji Roubaix SL. I had a Team Issue but it was ruined in a spring series wreck. Maybe next year we can get custom bikes made for the club.

FWIW I believe Texas had orange and white colors before Tennessee did (even though Tenessee is an older school). There was even an argument between the schools about it. If I remember right Texas went to "Burnt Orange" as a compromise. I need to look all that up but I've heard that a couple of times now.

Any chance the club/team is selling those?

I unfortunately wasnt smart enough to go there....but grew up in Knoxville and went to college in Indiana to "leave the nest." I shoulda stayed home and enjoyed staying at home.

Oh well.....
