Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

LickBike?

With the search function broken, I couldnt find the Ksyrium Elite thread about LickBike so I wanted to post and see how people's experience dealing with them was. I was thinking about placing an order with them but wanted to see how they came through with the Ksyrium deal a while back.

Thanks!

I'll join the chorus. I jumped on the Ksyrium Elite deal the OP mentioned. Great price and a bombproof shipping box I've kept.

I bought from them locally (in the store) a few times, but never from online. No problems to report and I was happy with the prices.

I got the $299 Elite deal and a campy cassette from them. Wheels arrived in original Mavic box, all accessories included. They were well packed and shipping was as expected. When I spoke to lickbike to clarify something they were pleasant and professional. So, I have only good words for them.

I've made two wheelgoods purchases from them. The first was flawless and prompt. The 2nd took about a month to receive. They said they had the stuff in stock, sold out, ordered, sold the new order, re-ordered, finally shipped to me. A lot of runaround and poor communication in the last purchase.

Overall they're a good place to buy. None of my negative experience was intentional. I'll probably follow up on the phone next time I buy from them.
