Tacoed chainring
After asking the question "how on earth does one crash from unclipping" earlier today, I got to experience the process on my final turn going home. I managed to keep the bike upright and avoid any personal injury, but I tacoed the biggest chainring on my triple in the process.
I'm guessing all I have to do is find a replacement part and I'm back in business? if not what other parts are likely damaged as a result of this. the derailleurs look ok and I wouldn't think the chain needs replacement.

you.... did what?
I've never even heard of someone taco-ing a chainring before! If it's really just the ring, then you should be able to bolt on a replacement and be good to go. However, you may want to get the bike checked out for other damage.

Check your BB and the interface between crankarm and spindle. Other than that, if you landed on anything else, it's probably obvious.

Tacoing a chainring is quite an accomplishment. I use my large ring as a rock ring for log hopping and basic trials and I bash that thing into log and concrete and bricks all the time and bent teeth are all I get.

I'd be most concerned with a bent spider after something like that... before you mount your a new ring, make sure the spider is undamged...

One usually does that to the large ring when one does not have enough links in the chain and goes big-big. But stepping on the ring to deform it is pretty rare, if at all.

I did this the very first time I ever went mountain biking. Was in the granny gear trying to muscle up a steep embankment and just BAM! the chainring folded in half.
That's right: it FOLDED IN HALF! Top half of the 22 tooth inner ring collapsed inwards on top of the bottom bracket. I had to pound it back flat(-ish) with a rock in order to ride home.
