Ultegra Hub w/ Open Pros, where to buy?
I've been looking online and it seems the only vendor I can find is Pricepoint, whom I have not heard of, and it doesn't say if they hand build them. Anyone know a reputable online business that sells them?

pricepoint wheels are likely built at the same place by a machine... that the performance wheels are. excelsports and colorado cyclist will handbuild you a set. but i had the dura-ace openpro set from pricepoint and it was fine... needed a touch up after a few thousand miles. cant beat the price.

I had to adjust the one I got from Performance a couple of times early on but since then (= 7000+ miles), no trouble. IIRC, they claim that the wheels are hand-built. My experience with machine-built wheels on one of our folders was lousy. Hand-built FTW!

I have two sets of Ultegra/OP wheels bought from Performance. One of the rear wheels needed slight truing after the first ride but both sets have been perfect since for a couple of thousand miles each.

If you aren't in a hurry, their stuff goes on crazy sale every now and then. I picked up an openpro/105 front wheel for $65 a few months back.

excelsports looks to have pretty decent prices. i'm in the market for some handbuilts with campy hubs and they look very reasonable. lots of options available on their website too.

Pricepoint, Nashbar/Performance, Excell all have great sales on those regularly. Before you ride, I'd probably have them tensioned by a good wheel mechanic and you'll have a great set of wheels.

I have had a couple of sets made by https://www.coloradocyclist.com . Very happy with their work, and they will hand build them with whatever spoke type and count you want. Highly recommend them.

Bought a pair from Performance for the Webster/Roubaix race. True out of the box, and held up well racing on dirt roads.

I ended up getting them at Performance locally. They had $20 off $100, so I bought the front, then bought the rear. Ended up getting the set for $169+tax =)

If you want some hand built wheels now, I have heard good things about https://shop.greatdealsonbikes.com/me...tegory_Code=RW
I don't have personal experience but their prices are good and I've heard they do a good job.
