Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New Wheels are Here!

My new MG Custom wheels arrived last week and I absolutely love them!!! Big upgrade from Bontrager Race. These wheels weigh in at 1600g. If I were to have gone with a Niobium 30 rear then it would be around 1470g but I wanted a stiffer rear rim. After about 200 miles I am very satisfied with the build. Noticeable difference of 2-3mph on descends due to the more aero profile with high-quality hubs. ***Now I'm debating removing the stickers off the rear so that it would match, what do you all think?***

Front:
Niobium 30 rim
DT Swiss 240s hub - 20 hole
Wheelsmith XE14 Spokes

Rear:
DT Swiss RR 1.2 rim
DT Swiss 240s hub - 24 hole
Wheelsmith XE14 Spokes
