Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Reynolds Ouzo Pro info needed

So I'm building up a friend's bike, and we're looking at forks... I'm seeing tons of Ouzo Pro's at crazy low prices all over...

A guy at a store said it's due to Reynolds changing up their graphics schemes, and that the fork has not undergone any major re-design or anything...

Anyone wanna weigh in on the accuracy of this claim? How different is the 05, 06 Ouzo Pro from the '07, besides the graphics and the massive price difference?

It's exactly correct. The changed logos and schemes for '07, so they are blowing out old stock. They blew out the wheel about 90 days ago as well. I got an Ouzo Pro for $125 shipped on Ebay...

The new Ouzo Pro forks are lighter. The old one that I have weights 450g. I heard the newer ones are somewhere around 380g.

I've also heard that the new Ouzo Pros are made overseas vs. in the US (if that means anything to you). I can't really confirm or deny that though.

Got my Ouzo Pro off ebay back in December. It's been a great fork so far and worth far more than what I paid. The new ones might be a little lighter, but I see no reason to spend several times more for the slight weight reduction.
