SCOTT BIKE PICS! post em' here

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Right back at ya. I think Litespeed bikes look like crap. Totally dull and uninteresting in any possible way. So please do us all a favor and don't post a pic of your ride in here...it's not worthy.

Right before I popped off the wheel guard and took it for my first ride...

Got the bike (a last year 2006 model left over that I got with all Ultegra including the compact crank for under $2k delivered). I added the seat and changed the stem and bars and cut it down but otherwise it's the same still. It's been a phenomenal bike so far, with only about 400 miles on it I love it.

I'd not seen that color scheme before, it's cool looking. That's the one thing I don't love about my Scott, the yellow and black paintjob. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the colors, but the OCP guy in me is bummed they don't match my team's red/black/white kit (I know that the Dura-ace bike comes in those colors, I couldn't afford it).

You do need to remove the dork disc from your back wheel though.

Why are you storing a photograph of your bike on a Belgian website?

Chrisshaw1: Where did you get those tires? Looks great!

After idolizing over Jimbos ride for a while now... I joined the Scott club!

White toupe, bar tape, and possibly tires coming soon.

I've got a stock 2006 CR1 SL. All black, grey and silver. Anyone working any other color combos on these? I've got a black on black Arione saddle, carbon water bottle cages, black handlebar tape. It does make it easy to coordinate riding kit tho, as everything goes with black & grey.

Nice!

Throw some pedal cages on there in the meantime, and get some red tires!

Definitely a VERY nice bike, but this statement sounds patently absurd.
