If you're OK ordering from an overseas retailer and they have what you're looking for (make/size/color), www.chainreactioncycles.com has some excellent prices on Sidis. I have only placed one order with them, but the shipping was fast, and the transaction was as smooth as with any other online retailer, including those in the U.S.

I think Comobike has significantly lower prices on Sidis than anyone else. Higher shipping charges though, and the website isn't very good.

www.biketiresdirect.com or www.westernbikeworks.com (they are same people)
Excellent reviews for this site. I got my Sidi's last week from them.
Add in shipping from those overseas places listed, and you will come out much more and have to deal with possible duty fees, even if they are wrong.
The Genius 5 is only $180 + $5 shipping at westernbikeworks.
Genius 5 Hi-Tech is $199
You won't beat that easily. I spent hours looking.

If you are positive of your foot shape/condition, shoe size and width re: Sidi lasts, ordering should be okay. If not, check out the Sidi website's info on their 30day money back fit guarantee at selected dealers (there's a list at the site). That's the first time that one could wear shoes for month and still return them as far as I'm aware. This time of year that would be 800-1000 miles of riding to try them out for me.
The only time I mail order shoes is for a pair that is a duplicate of a worn set I already own. all IMHO, of course.
https://www.sidiusa.com/promo.html
Apparently one gets a free pair of deFeet socks, too. I'm not shilling Sidi but I just got a pair and couldn't be happier. My age 58+, slightly asymetrically sized, bunnioned, narrow, flat feet feel great. I went through a dealer.

I wish I'd heard about the promo before this week. One of the shops in town had them marked down 15%, but I wasn't ready to take the plunge. If they'd advertised the 30 day trial period, I would have given in to the impulse buy.

www.beyondbikes.com had a killer deal on the Genius 5.5 Mega shoes...check the coupon section to see if they are still offering 10% off on shoes as well.

Or you can just go with PBK and get them cheaper than all of the above. EDIT: Comobike's prices are nice too, as stated above.

Look around. There are always a couple of good deals every season...just not when you want them. I got my Genius 5s for $160 at an LBS that had a 20% off coupon and had the item on sale as well.

Big +1 on these guys. Genius 6.6's for $70 less than everywhere else. Shipping was fast as hell too.

Do all Sidis fit basically the same? I tried on a pair of their mtn shoes and found a comfortable fit. Will the road shoes fit the same?

True, but I got it locally from the retail store with 10% off at the POS and 10% back with Team Performance. Sometimes Performance runs 20% points specials on the weekends.
Instant gratification and the ability to try many sizes (and the awesome return policy) beats a $20 savings anyday of the week for me. Plus no shipping locally.
I wear 10 mens and would have ordered 44.5 if I bought it online but after trying on several shoes I settled for the 43.5. It's nice that Sidi does half sizes and it's nicer to take advantage of it.

Plus, its SO worth the extra $20 if you were getting the Ergo 2 to buy from within the US. What if there is a small defect in the shoes like a stitching error? I wouldn't be concerned about ordering a derailleur or something, but with hand stitched shoes there can be little things off. You'd be stuck dealing with a return to an Italian company and have to ship back to Italy.
I'm telling you from hours of searching, biketiresdirect was the place. Best Sidi prices, good stock, they shipped in 1 day, sent a confirmation email, had a status link, and sent a UPS confirmation number all for $5 shipping. Thats better than Performance can manage. First rate internet site.

I just bought a pair of the Genius 5.5 from PBK for $208.00. I thought that was a pretty good price and with free shipping and to my door in less than 7 days, I couldn't complain.
