TOKEN An Aftermarket Sleeper?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

TOKEN An Aftermarket Sleeper?

Bought a few new bikes (Tommaso and Ibex) and needed to upgrade. Both bikes came with Shimano Ultegra/Dura Ace as main drivetrain and braking, which of course you leave alone.
I did need to upgrade stem, derailuer pulleys, spacers, saddle and some trinkets and baubbles.

Alot out there, although TOKEN bike products are excellent in everyway and good value for the money.
Can't say enough good on their RTM saddle which is a combo of Kevlar, Ti and Carbon fiber. The Fizik which came with the Ibex was decent.
Here is a company (TOKEN) which is relatively inexpensive with high quality workmanship and technically savy. Bought a white CF stem which is so so light and so so strong. Ceramic rear Derailuer pulleys gold anodized, 7005 CNC machined, which turn like butter, Their CF H2O cages are works of art with an awesome clear coat.

They manufacture this White Carbon Fiber frame which is very sweet. Inmatter of fact, you could build a complete bike with mostly everything being Token.

This company which is sorta new to the aftermarket world should be given a good look at for your aftermarket needs.

By the way, I do not work for or endorse their products. No stock in company either. Just a good fit.

From what I know, they've never had too many problems with their product lines. However, keep in mind, I don't think much of their stuff is proprietary design. They are generic designs made in Taiwan, and they put their name on them. I have in the past seen many of there products with differant names on them from differant sellers.

That said, I would have no problem using their stuff, as some of it is pretty nice. All just depends on if you want the Token name on it, or someone elses.

Bought one of their ISIS bottom brackets. Extremely light, especially given the cost. Got a few hundred miles on it so far, no problems. We'll see how it holds up over time, but so far very happy.

I had noticed their web site before, while searching for some lightweight part. Looks like a Taiwanese manufacturing company that makes stuff for others, and some for themselves using the Token brand. So, its like generic, only its Token. This is how FSA started out. It looks like you could just about build an entire bicycle with Token parts.

it would sound a lot less shill-ish if you didn't repeat TOKEN in all caps throughout the post and regurgitate stuff like it's straight from the website.

I don't think you are shilling, just thought you might want to know the post sounded a little weird.

That frame is like a Calfee Dragonfly on crank. Not a bad looking design though...

I ride a Token BB that I'm reasonably pleased with. It's the only CF on my bike, incidentally. I'm reasonably pleased. We shall see how it holds up.

Interesting. The looks are uncanny. Perhaps you are correct. Bonty stuff is not cheap and looks way cool!

i found this earlier now that you've brought it up:

https://cgi.ebay.com/TOKEN-New-TK951C...QQcmdZViewItem

https://cgi.ebay.com/Pro-CARBON-TI-SA...QQcmdZViewItem

Pro Carbon or TOKEN, take your pick since it's the same saddle
