integrated headset problem (again) PedalForce RS
Hi there,
I am installing the integrated headset that came with my PedalForce RS (meant to an FSA one). And I am struggling to remove all play from the fork.(I can remove it when in my room, but when I brake on a downhill on a ride, I can clearly see a movement) I have just noticed that the compression ring (which I am guessing is suppse to act like the crown race but on the top side of the headset system) is really really loose. I mean when I push it together so it gets the smallest it can get there is still a 1mm-1.5mm gap between the ring and the fork steerer.
Is this normal?
Thanks
p.s. I have attached a photo to show the gap.
