I love it thus far! The only upgrade I'm considering is a new seat.
And no, I won't even consider flipping it. I broke my 5th and 6th Cervical Vertebrae in a car accident, so I need a cockpit that tends to be a bit more upright.

I like the bar tape. Thats why its on MY bike. The real design wheels are about 1800g i think. They ride great, bike weight is 16lbs with pedals.

I know I don't ride a sexy plastic unobtanium wunder bike, but I really do love my Salsa. And since it's now finally spring and I've just gotten back from an all too brief 15 km ride -- the first one of 2007, BTW -- I thought I'd re-post it for everyone else to enjoy. I don't own a garage with a white door and my driveway looks like Flanders in 1916, so this'll have to do.
It was last winter's project and my first road bike, so I'm kind of attached to it. I replaced my Thomson 110 mm stem with an FSA 100 mm (to match the bars) and swapped my Selle Italia Flite for the Avatar 143. I also might still rotate my bars just a touch higher, too. My wife isn't crazy about the white bar tape -- she thinks it looks like I painted them with Liquid Paper. I kind of like it, though.

I love that Huffy so much, I want to take it behind the middle school and get it pregnant.
Seriously. I'd take the fork out, get some grease and go to work.

The clean white bar tapes works for you. That may change, however, after your first ride.

I used to ride a Raleigh Technium from...way back when I was born. I don't know the exact date, but it had the old-fashioned downtube shifters and all. I worked at Boston Market for 6 months, though, saved everything I made, and dish by dish I earned my new silver 2007 Trek 5000 ☺

Old Rides
Here is my workhorse Trek and the first good road bike I bought a Shogun 1500. Planning on adding a Madone 5.0 or 5.2 in the next few weeks. Every 10 or 15 years.
