What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Did you just stick those cranks on? I'm so jealous. I've been lusting after the Teams for a while now. the problem is that my current Pros are just fine. I have been trying to come up with ways to justify new parts. My current scheme is to buy a "transportable"/foldable frame for travel (I do a lot of travel) and hang my old parts on it thus necessitating a whole new group for my current bike.

BTW, nice bike. I haven't ever tried a Wilier but that's because I haven't found a local dealer. Speaking of which... you live in Maine and don't have an Aegis? shame on you!

Just got the cranks yesterday, so I haven't even ridden them yet. I had Dura Ace on there before, so really there is no real "upgrade" (saved me all of 35 grams), I just wanted to try and do mostly carbon fiber where it is possible, plus I have heard that the FSA cranks are SUPER stiff. I didn't even bother to try and justify it b/c it's not possible. The Dura Ace were just fine and would have lasted forever, so I just bit the bullet and admitted I am a parts junkie! LOL

Wilier frames are hard to find stateside (I don't know of any local shop that carries them from here to NY), but I do love the frame. MUCH more comfortable than my previous frame (Klein Quantum -pre-carbon stays), acclerates like a cheeta on speed and it is fantastically light!

I know, I know...I think Aegis makes incredible frames, and they were a strong consideration for me, but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on the Wilier.

Agh, Just wanted to edit my previous post, but the forum won't let me.

Here is the bike with some new cranks. Going to give the FSA Carbon cranks a try.
mjolnir2k, Looks like you've been up to more than just bike hijinx, a railing looks to be installed as well as a outlet plate, that is also one of the most beautiful bikes I have ever seen.

Gee Wizz, After checking out some of the pics posted, I wasn't sure if I should even bother getting around to posting a pic of mine. So of you gents and ladies have some very sweet rides. I'm insanely jealous.

I remember seeing the special edition gold TCRs mentioned in an issue of Bicycling. My thoughts at the time were, "where do you find replacement gold cable housing?"

Steelman SR525. Looks very much like the one in this pic (same paint and decal colors) minus all the Shimano junk (Record 10 + Sirocco wheelset for me thanks).

Nice, I always love seeing Rolf’s anodized rims on the road. Bontrager’s blue rims just don’t seem to hold a candle to them.
