Yeah, so cross-posting is bad and stuff. And I already posted this in the fixie forum, but it *is* still a road bike and a rather fun one at that. My new fixie, to replace the one that sort of snapped while riding down Grand Ave downtown about a month ago. Weighs in at about 18 pounds.

Here is my De Rosa Dual. It's got Campy Record, FSA: crank, stem, handlebar, Fizik Arione saddle, and LOOK Cx6 pedals. It rides incredible.

How do you like the Record with the FSA cranks? I am getting a new bike next week and am thinking of using that same setup. I'm actually thinking of putting a FSA stem and handlebars as well. What can I say? Great minds think alike.

I really like the FSA crank. Don't get me wrong, it is very pleasing to the eye; but helps to put out the power also. The FSA K-Wing handlebar is great. It absorbs a lot of small vibrations, and it even flexes a some, which helps with comfort.

Hello, I am located in The Netherlands and a proud owner of a GT time trial Bicycle
that was used in the 2002 season by the Belgium LOTTO cycle team.
Mine was ridden by Steve Vermaut one of the better climbers in the Tour de France
of that year.
I use the bike to compete in crits and it rides like hell.
You may notice that the frame is painted in the Belgium national colours.
I have no information about the GT manufacturer and would like to know if there are
more of these bikes made for the US market. To my knowledge only 10 or 15 trial bikes
were made for Lotto in Europe. Who can tell me more

I've wanted to try a road bike for awhile, but could never seem to afford it. Saturday while my wife was at the Goodwill store I noticed a bike. I checked it out and found it to be an older Blue Schwinn Tempo road bike. It was in pretty good shape only needing tires (they are boh different sizes 700 x 23 on the front and 700 x 35 on the rear I think) and the rear brake caliper. I got it for $5.99, . It has some component names I recognize. I also want to replace the seat, it has a White O'Brien with neon lettering. Not my style, and not very comfortable. But for $6 I figured it was worth it for a first, starter bike. Even after the tire, seat and rear brake caliper what have I really got to loose?

Thanks! I hope it makes a good starter bike. I bought a presta valve adapter for $1.49 at the local shop, aired up the tires and road it yesterday. It seems much easier and faster to ride than my mountain bike.
I bought some brakes off of ebay last night. Now I need to find some tires, a new seat, and it needs new bar tape.
An interesting side note. I was surfing the web looking for info on this bike and stumbled across another site where a guy was posting asking about the same bike! He saw it and passed but planned to go back. I never hesitated when I saw the price. Small world.
