Cripes. Everybody in the world (except for me) seems to have found one of those awesome, red-and-white Schwinns for $0.00 at a garage sale somewhere. Except for me. Except for me.
One of these days...
Here's my bike:
It's my first road bike and so far, I absolutely love it.
2008 Trek 2.1
Hi Folks! New to the forum but not to biking!
Here's mine! I bought it a few weeks ago. All I know it is what it says on the side an 06Trek SL, I can't find the exact model anywhere on the net, so I'd appreciate if any of you could identify it for me properly. I'm about to grace it with a set of Mavic Ksyrium SL's, which will drop it's weight considerably, although it is a fairly light bike to start with.
She's a peach and I can't get enough of it!
Schwinn LeTour, pretty old, rides just fine for me though.
do I get some type of prize for the slowest build? and it still isn't finished, steer tube needs to be cut
"The only reasons anyone should ever ride in the rain is because a) youíve had your license to operate a motor vehicle suspended by the state. b) youíre in a bike race in which case youíre not allowed to use fenders anyway. c) youíre from Portland- in which case my main problem is with your neck beard- not your bicycle...If you need to train when itís pissing rain- buy a trainer or one of those cheap charter flights to Mallorca."
My rebuilt Cannondale Crit. 3.0 56cm, finished this over the Summer:
Bought this 8 days ago, and so far I am absolutely in love with it:

My new Pinarello FP5 with dura ace. Im saving for wheels. mods to come are a different saddle and shorter stem.
I'm a roadie at heart so my singlespeed deserves a spot here.
the internet is the death of many things.
I love it. Just got it today. So happy . And I haven't gotten around to taking the reflectors off. They are coming off tomorrow before I go on a 10 or 20 mile bike ride.
Plans for this bike down the road are 2 new cages, 1 more water bottle(I'll use the bike shops water bottles only because it's a great shop and I don't mind advertising for them), clipless pedals and a cyclocomputer.
Edit - Helmet isn't pictured. It's a Bell Furio in black.
