What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My shop's Shimano rep taught me how to re-route the cables underneath the bar tape, but it involves some potentially shifter-destroying techniques. I swore I would tell anybody.

It shifts perfectly though.

Okay, new wheels on the Cannondale. I just threw on some spare tires I had on there for the picture. Still no chain; I haven't felt like installing the new one I got since I broke it last week.

Free wheels, can't beat free.

'08 Van Dessel Hellafaster frame, with assymetrical chainstays, rad aero downtube, carbon airfoil seatpost. Force 08 shifters, 09 (black) Rival RD, cranks, and brakes, and an 08 silver Rival FD. Alpha Q fork. Thomson Elite stem, Ritchey WCS bars, pink Jagwire housing set, Fizik Aliante The wheels are Velocity Fusion/Shimano 105/DB spokes. I also have a set of Chris King hubs/Mavic Reflex tubie rim wheels I'm bringing over from the CX bike for race wheels. I love this bike. I'll use it for a whole gang of training, crits, what road races we have near Chicago (not many), and the occasional TT.

Cool looking bike and interesting mix of components.

Our team colors are pink and blue (though more blue this year). No pink on my bike though -- just the team kit.
