Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nope, that was just to make sure I didn't have 'too' much money in it. I figured if I got any hits at all, I was okay...btw, i don't have anywhere near the price in the bike. I'm new at this and wanted to make sure that everything I'd been told was actually true...you know the, "proof is in the pudding" theory. Glad you mentioned it, though, it reminded me to take the listing off.
I did get 4 emails asking about it, though, and I thought is was WAY overpriced, so it made me happy. As you can see, I'm not done. I can't even figure out what type of stem to use yet. My old, overweight and creaky body needs upright as of now, but hopefully by this time next year, I'll be a little more flexible and can 'move up'.

How come my picture is so much smaller than everybody else's? Must be because I'm a newbie, eh?

I don't think I know how to do that. I just tried and met with the same result. I guess it's not that important. Although, it's kinda like having a new baby, you want to show it all to all your friends...lol

2 things:
- The stupid looking knob / spacer on top of the stem. Cut your fork to the correct length. Do you have something against your balls if you have a head-on crash in a race?
- I noticed the green tires dont match anything else. Try Continental tires. The Gator Skin color, its like a burnt orange/brown. Your bike will look pretty evil.

It looks pretty mean/nice now, but those Continental tires make it look like a monster.

Personally I dont like SRAM, but it looks good on your bike.

Cutting your fork is a PITA and hurts your resale value. His is fine. You don't know what his kit looks like, it might have green in it (I don't remember his kit colors either).

Joining and then using one of your first posts to say something stupid about a respected member's bike is a weird thing to do. Just saying.

^ Those EDGE wheels are such sub par quality... I'll take them from you so you don't have to be seen with them

+1, and "Howzit" failed to notice that "CrimsonKarter21" runs wheels for tubular tirers so recommending Gator Skin clincher tires from Continental makes no sense.

Airsoft,

Nice ride! Did you build those wheels yourself? Or, where did you get those wheels built up?

Cannondale Criterium. I'm not sure of the year, but I bought it used in 1994.

my Fredmobile, outfitted for a longish ride. oh It's an iron horse triumph 07 .. I call it the beer can as that's what the decals make it look like. I tried to hide the iron horse logo with a pump, but was unsuccessful.

Wow. Thanks. You're right. Wow.
I also never realized that my balls will hit a 1 cm tall stack of spacers that is 7 cm below my saddle, which is 45 cm behind the spacers. I also have never crashed this bike head on.

I'm also glad that you're not color blind. Or are you? There may be green all over the place on the bike.

Just picked up this beauty, 2006 Damocles with DA/Ultegra mix. 105 shifters but those will be replaced with DA soon.

I'll bet it corners like it's on rails..
