90's Specialized epic. Carbon/aluminum frame with aluminum fork. 105 components except for ultegra pedals. Planning to upgrade deraileurs and crank to ultegra and get a carbon fork. 39/53 chain rings and 12/26 rear cassette. Eventually i want to upgrade to 9 speed and then switch to ultegra shifters. I mainly ride for distance but i try to keep building up my average speed.

wow, you guys have some sweet rides.
i'll post my bike, just don't make fun of it. its a work in progress. as i get faster i earn upgrades.
i've replaced the sora 8-spd with ultegra 9spd (brifters, cassette and chain) looking to complete the drivetrain phase to a compact double soon.
then i get to focus on wheels.
21lbs of pain.

Strolling down memory lane
I'ts with a heavy heart and a tear in my eye that I will be putting the first racing bike I ever bought out to pasture. So lets take a stroll down memory lane. remember 1988 when the Centurion Ironman made bicycling mag a best buy,,,, well here is my Dave Scott commerative to that competition. Remember BIO PACE??? It still has the origional chain rings. There's only room for one steel bike in my house, and I guess the Serotta wins the hook. Ok I guess its not such a bad trade off. Goodby Old girl.
B+ roadie I guess?
