Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

There is a guy in my group with a very modest (and slightly beat up) aluminum Giant - I'm not sure about the model. It's the oldest bike in the group and has original equipment on it, including a heavy triple crankset and 105 components. He is the fastest guy in the group and much cooler than the guy on the CF bike with full SRAM Red struggling to keep up at the back of the pack (this last guy is me).

Cheers!
oh I love riding, don't worry
fitting is ok, unfortunately the shifters are fairly messed up after I crashed a month ago
fast people on bad bikes are my favorite, they really show money isn't everything

Got this yesterday, and took it on its first ride today. It was a small 25 mile ride but I enjoyed it anyway.

I have yet to get fitted on the bike so the steerer tube will more than likely be cut.

Beautiful Cannondale!! I've always been a fan of their bikes. Still own an old H300 hybrid. Let us know how you like
the SRAM components. My new Spesh Secteur Elite has the Apex gruppo and so far I"m loving it! Hope you and your
new friend have a long, happy relationship togehter!!

Oh I LOVE the Rival/Force set up! It's so crisp and sharp! I've tried the old Ultegra gruppo and 105 gruppo but they're nothing like the Rival gruppo. But that's just my opinion.

I didn't realize the Crud Road Racers went all the way to the front derailleur on the back wheel; did you modify them to do that? I can't recall seeing it before. I think I really need to get myself a set of those for this winter.

Looks like they've finally invented the perfect road bike fenders. The cowl at the front of the rear fender is an awesome feature.

The Leader I bought was a bad fit for me, it's being unloaded on CL. But I'm in LOVE with this bike - I have yet to take it on a ride longer than a 1/4 mile. I just tuned it up and put a new rear tire on it.
