Nothing like putting on new handlebar tape to spice up the "old girl."

I like how the tape goes from solid red and ends with red dots on white.

What tape is that? It is way cool and I think I need some.

Not enough logos however.

I have a set on my Cannondale with 23s and they seem great, I never used the little brush things so they do rub occasionally but I'd like to put them on my Litespeed with the 25c Gatorskins and was wondering what the coverage would be like?

Dunno what they'd be like with 25 tyres but they are fine with my 24mm Vittorias...

This came in the post today.
Only thing I put on were the (cheap) wheels.
I've been after a lugged carbon, standard geometry frame since I got into this road biking lark.
I intend to redo the bar tape in black and get some Vittoria Open Corsas in black on there for now, then think of maybe upgrading the Chorus 10sp...
It fits me like it was custom made for me, I've been looking every day for the C50 in my size at a good price and I think, for the price, I struck absolute eBay Gold!!

I love the finish on the lugs.

Just updated my el cheapo saddle with a Brooks B17 Narrow. Looks different, but should be nice to feel something else on the arse than those gel padded and plastic deformities.

Alright, here goes nothing:

I wouldn't bother, isn't Chorus 10sp supposed to shift really well?

Looks like you could use a setback seat post though.

How do you like those Gravitas brakes...I hate mine....absolutely a pain to get dialed in

It does seem to shift pretty well to be fair (my first foray into campag) but theres a fair bit of movement in the levers to get it to shift, especially when I'm used to Red.

Defo need more of a setback post really (this is already 25mm) but this is a colnago (well, Selcof with Colnago logos on) one...

I'll see what I can find on the web.

I run Red now and have never used Campy but it's my understanding that's standard for their feel.

I remember this bike.....you stated something about saving and then doing some tax evasion to pay for it, lol. or at least the guy on WW with a bike like this did.
how much did this bike end up costing?

problempoker 09-01-10 08:51 PM

My new build: Waterford RS-11

Frame is circa 2001, but was just repainted by Waterford.

Beautiful bike but for the love of god please have someone take a look at your fit and see if you really need the bars at that angle.
