Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

i use a road bike for just touring but i use the trek 7100 hybrid but as months ran on i have been biking roads day and nite for at least 30 miles and not using a faster lighter bike its quite comfortable , but now i need to get a comfortable lighter bike for going up hills is a killer so i need a comfortable racing bike

hey, whoa there buddy. I got the same tape...I think it looks hot man. although my bike actually has some red in it. besides, soon it'll have more black in it, as rear flats happen (touching the chain...then touching the tape) and you decide to screw around with the bike.

though chuvak, that seat is REALLY far forward...did you get it professionally fitted or are you just screwing around with it?

nice bike overall though...

fogrider,

That's an awesome bike. Looks like it climbs like a dream. The Mt. Tam climb has got to be one of the best "in my neighborhood" rides. Is there much traffic?
