Tech. Please take a picture of the CHAIN side of the bike. Hence the above fail. Otherwise, sweet ride.. (Also remove saddlebag for pic) Apparently that's a no no here too.

Haha..Ok, will fix. My camera phone sucks. Will use DSLR and post again..without the bag, chain side so all can be impressed with my FSA crank I guess.

That bag isn't that big, it holds a tube folded, repair kit and multi-tool...and that is all it could hold. Oh, maybe a driver's license can squeeze.

You need a drivers license to ride a bike in your state?

Some states require that you carry ID. Don't you read Bicycling Magazine?

    It's my own RoadID.

Hopefully someone will be smart enough to look in the bag if they really want to figure it out.

No state requirement...but you also never know when you are going to be hitting a bar on a ride and need to show your ID..hardy har...

I almost have my bike the way I want it. It sits at 13.7lbs as shown. I still want to upgrade to KCNC C7 brakes, and a Red Cassette for these wheels. That should get me at a solid 13.25lbs for race trim.

Here are some old along the way pics.

1 lap to go, before taking my first victory. I know, I failed on the pinning of the number, but I still won.

Old race wheels, now fast group ride/training wheels, old saddle, old bartape, old crankset.

prior to Sram, on training wheels. Rocking the 6500 I stole off my Trek.

    The day she arrived....

I am not a weight weenie either. I just like to waste money. Coincidentally having a lighter wallet is proportional to having a lighter bike. Thanks for the compliment. I really love the way this bike rides. Although, I have not ridden the Zipps yet. Everyone tells me they are awesome. I'll find out in a few months I guess. I've been a Sram fan since the earliest days of Gripshift. Sram Force, and Red are a big improvement over the 6500 group I have on my Trek, but they should be. They are 10 years newer. I've been a Cervelo fan since the first day I test rode a Soloist Carbon. It's a great riding bike, I assure you.

i ride/prefer sram on my mtb, but on the road i love the feel, ergonomics, feedback, and heritage behind campagnolo. you wouldnt hear me complain if i was forced to ride sram however (i dont think much of shimano)

i would really like to ride a soloist. honestly, i wouldnt mind finding an aluminum one if the price were right (carbon is out of my current budget) i just would not consider it one of my go to manufacturers.

are you still thinking about painting yours black? that photoshop was sweet.

If and when the paint gets worn enough to merit a repaint. I think I will do the black idea. I've kicked around the idea of picking up an aluminum soloist myself for crit racing. People tend to go down in crits and all. I've yet to use Campy, but I am sure if I did I would like it allot.

Upgraded from the Roubaix to a Cervelo S1. Dropped of the parts, sans groupset at the bike shop @ 12 today, picked it up @ 6 all done! Not the best picture, will have to do for now. Upgraded wheels later this year...
