I just got a new pro carbon Land Shark:
A couple months ago I won a gift certificate for a custom frame and I got it a couple of days ago. I ended up going with carbon instead of steel though it was a hard decision (stainless really appealed to me). I mostly built it up with parts from my current stable but there are a couple of things I need to get. As for the paint I was really set on either bmw art car inspired or a martini racing inspired but after seeing a blue one where you could see the carbon weave I thought I'd do what but with green. John added his own touch on the green and I couldn't be happier. This is by far the best riding bike I have ever been on and I am already saving money to have John build me either a new cross bike or a new mtb.

Sibex Sports was a titanium bicycle frame and component distributor here in Colorado Springs who went out of business 2 or three years ago. The frames are manufactured in Russia (not sure exactly where). This is a 64cm version of their Czar road frame, sans decals. It's not light but there are some nice features that beefed this frame up for bigger riders like me. Since Spectrum Powder Coating is right here in town, I'm thinking of partial custom powder coat once I come up with a design. I had been riding 60, 61, and 62cm frames...steel, carbon, and aluminum. I've very happy with the feel of titanium but mostly, it's the 64cm size and geometry that have made the difference.
I have posted this in the Christmas thread and show your Madone thread, hesitated posting here but heck I might just as well. Madone 6.2 Ultegra 6700 2011 Rage Red. To much snow outside so I only have been able to ride from one end of the house to the other. I don't know what it weighs but did some research online and best I found was 15.8. Not sure and Trek won't state what it is. Maybe some day I can find a scale but really I am not concerned about the bike it is my own butt that can be cut

That pinarello is hot
That Pinarello is smokin'. I was down to either an FP3 or Cervelo S2. The Pinarello was great, but just didn't feel quite as nice as the S2. But that thing is gorgeous. Enjoy.
I've had mine posted up a while ago and here's a repost with some minor upgrade(s).
It happened back then just before Christmas when I was at my LBS and managed to score a great deal on those LW Rear D's. It was a really sick deal so I just felt so compelled to get them! :p
Shot of the bike before the LW RD...
Still one of the nicest bikes on here. (and probably the most expensive too!).
Miss riding it in comfortable weather. Haha.
Wow, that dolce frame is so tiny it looks like a bmx bike :O
That Land Shark is great! Slawta is on my want to get a frame done-someday list of builders. Really cool stuff. I must say I would have wanted a fillet brazed one though...
