If it is to big for you then $8.00 is not a good deal..........

You know exactly what I meant. Riding a bike thats too big just because its cheap will not make for a long term rider.

Ok. Posting my new ride. Cannondale SuperSix 1 with Dura-Ace (brifters / derailleurs) and Ultegra (breaks / cassette / chain). Swapped in my old wheels and handlebar from my previous bike. This thing rides great, can't wait to put in some serious miles.

Nice bike, I was considering getting one of those myself.

That said, as someone who rides slightly upright, that's a hell of a lot of stem spacers. How tall are you and what size is it?

Your first road bike is a pinarello? That is one sweet road bike whether it is your first or not. DON'T Paint it! (Unless of course you are an artist and very crafty and experienced painting bicycles)

Here is my latest and greatest. Obviously I have recently learned to play with photoshop. Forgive the hack job on the picture. This bike is FAST though and EXTREMELY FUN to ride.

There is strong evidence to the contrary.

These things take time to learn. Graphics was never my strong suit. I usually pay an associate of mine to take care of these things for work related items. I'll get better I promise.

I have been riding for quite a few years now and still barely know anything compared to pros, I figured photoshop will take just as long... lol. That's the excuse I am giving myself anyways.

Yeah, I pretty much ALWAYS swap out OEM tires immediately. Pretty much wheels at this point too.

I knew it was coming :-). Already have 4 inches of drop. Might try that in a year or so when I increase my flexibility...

    Trek 1000 Frame (2001)
    Xero xr-1 race wheels (16/20 spoke,1525 grams)
    Dura-ace 7700 deraileurs
Dura-ace 7800 bottom bracket with raceface cadence crank
    Ultegra clipless pedals
    Origin8 Carbon cages
Origin8 Carbon fork with aluminum steerer

    Future upgrades:
    Dura-ace 7700 shifters
Fsa os99 aluminum stem with titanium bolts
+ more that's undecided. Plan to outfit with full 7700 dura-ace except for bb and crank. Not the lightest bike right now but stiff and rides good
