What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My Trek Pilot 2.1! It's dirty, scratched up, poorly taken care of, too big for me...and it's perfect! I use this bike to commute or just go for a really leisurely ride. I never have to worry about crashing, scratching it, or locking it up anywhere!

My Motobecane Fantom Team Titanium! Still awaiting to get built up by me!

My Soma Double Cross! Formerly built up with SRAM Red but taken apart to build up the Gaulzetti. Will soon be built up as strictly a touring/randonneuring type of bike.

My wife's Van Dessel Rivet! Ultra stiff, light, quick handling race machine! She loves it!

My wife's Surly Cross Check! Built up as a classy touring bike!

My wife's Cervelo P2 SL...with a few upgrades. Super stiff and fast!

My wife's trusty Trek 7500FX! This sucker has seen road, dirt, paths, trainers, everything! It's been with her through her first half Ironman event at Steelhead. And now serves as a town bike and trainer bike!
What size bikes are those?

After being out of biking for about 2 years and finally deciding to buy another one, I have this.

54cm Scott CR1 Elite with SRAM Force all around except FD and brakes.

Bought a Trek Domane 5.2 over the weekend. Wasn't going to go Trek being as everyone else does...but I road a dozen other "endurance" bikes over the last few weeks and the Domane, with it's IsoSpeed Decoupler magic, completely wrecked all the other bikes for me. Very happy thus far.

Just finished my Litespeed campy upgrade project.

It's an '06 or '07 (I can't quite remember when I bought it) Ardennes which had a 10 speed veloce group. Upgraded from a standard veloce crank to a carbon chorus compact crank, record 13/26 cassette, medium cage record RD, carbon record brifters, record brakes, and a cool aero BBB carbon handlebar. It shifts like butter, and I the close ratio cassette. Riding some steep hills on Friday, that will be the true test of the crank.

My other bike is a specialized sworks which will be getting a new drive train this fall. Pictures of that one another time.

Nice job. Explain why a medium cage on a 11-21 cassette?

2011 Madone 3.1, size 56, mostly 105 group and my new 2012 R3, size 54 with Rival. The lbs was nice enough to swap out the FSA gossamer crank for a Rotor crank, no charge. I'm a happy camper.

How is the Fi'zik saddle bag? I was tempted, but didn't hear very good things.

Works for me just like any other saddle bag.... Doesn't flop around, and is large enough for me to hold... Spare tube, 2 tire levers, 1 CO2 cartridge + injector, cell phone + cash/cards/ID, 4mm/5mm hex wrenches, and a patch kit. Even after all that there's still a little wiggle room to shove something else in there like one or two gels if necessary.

The only other saddle bag that I really use besides this one is the Jandd one, which is almost the same thing just that it unzips horizontally, although I believe the Fizik bag holds more than the Jandd. I don't make a big fuss over saddle bags, as long as they hold what I need and don't flop around, I'm okay with them.
