Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks dude there third generation Mavic r-sys wheels. Don't get caught in the negative internet hype, the problems are old news with the first generation models. There awesome to ride on.

I luv seeing Defy's!!!
I like the white/blue combo better, the the orange accents are a nice touch if you going for the Team Rabobank feel.
Nice Defy!!!

Stock giant bars. I love the bend, so when I go cf on the stem and bars, I'll probably stay with their brand.

Oh, you didn't change them? They don't look the same in the before and after pics.

Factory shifter position was poor, as well as the bars having a slight tilt to them.

Got to take some pics this afternoon! Enjoy!
-I just realized that Selle Italia saddle is short compared to my San Marco's and Arione.... definitely swapping it out as soon as my new Arione CX comes in.. (Italia is 275mm vs Arione 300mm)
Also, I'm definitely changing stems... -12 or -6..... maybe -12, Zipp has a nice one for it. Hands get just a tad bit numb around 20miles or so.

and my fitting:

I managed to snap it before adjustments were made.

As for wheels, I ran out of funds (rebuilding my race car to be street legal) so those 60mm carbon tubs will have to wait another month or two
