What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sold the Easton EA90SLX wheels for Reynold Attack Clinchers laced to a powertap. Heavier, but they have a powermeter so it works out pretty well. Next is a set of November Rail Clinchers for some go fast wheels.

Like the lugged frame, makes for a classy modern ride.

Here is an updated picture.

Scott Speedster s40 with apex group and force crankset. Techlite alloy clinchers and a garmin edge 200 =)

Last time I posted I was told by multiple people to flatten my seat. I was even told by a mechanic at a LBS so I tried it, it hurt my back and I had lower abdomen paints the next day or two. So I edged it down again how it is now and I am back to pain free =)

Here's an updated shot of my 1991 Trek 1400 loaded for a 65 mile ride. I didn't end up using all of the water and food that I brought, but I prefer to over prepare. I've put almost 2,000 miles on this bike this year, and it has been a joy to ride.

Bike fit and saddles and saddle position are so personal that it's impossible to to make any rules that don't have exceptions.
If it was a science then we all wouldn't have these boxes full of saddles that seemed to work until they didn't.

My first bike. Using cycling to get into shape. 5"11 250lbs. Played sports all my life. Hurt knee and got lazy. Rode with bars at stock height for about 100 miles after that completely dropped them. Just got my clipless pedals after 950 miles and first ride with them will be today. Come next sept, an upgrade is highly likely.... This sport is to addicting.

Been a great entry level bike. Lbs has been great no pressure no rush only advice. Bought everything in order

This usually results because your seats too high. Did you try lowering the seat AND leveling it? Not trying to start anything, if you're happy then ride on.

I haven't tried that, but I have a couple big races coming up so maybe after they are over I will.

What a beautiful Cannondale! Not aware of this color scheme. The seatpost looks very aero.

Love the super 6, esp. w/ the 1,200 $ wheelset, with its own tires AND tubes AND brake pads.
