Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Look KG-171 Team

Just put this together for the new year. Horribly cross-chained in the photo, apparently the engine still needs to get over the Christmas/New Year reveling period.

Just amazing. I love Looks.

The seat post looks a little silly, though.

I should be able to raise the the seatpost a little in the future as I get some flexibility back in over the next few weeks but still, that post does look a little chunky and the variable setback I just don't see the point of for me at least. I've an alu post I may put on down the line once I've given it a few miles in it's current setup.

Seat height has little to do with flexibility. On the other hand you should be able to lower you stem as you get more flexible.

My first road bike I've bought new. It's not a 10, but for the money and getting back into road riding, I like it!

I just went from this,

Dawes lightning DLX. It served me well for 3500 miles since May. The only Problem I ever had was a nasty rock taco'd my rear wheel so I replaced 'em with the zerolites. It was a fine machine to get me started but the time has come to upgrade!

Enter 2011 Supersix Ultegra. She's still at the LBS this evening awaiting a tune-up. I cant wait to get it on the road!!!

I will start from my latest addition to my garage - this is $375-CL-finding.

Then my 2 others road oriented bikes
.

My wife's hybrid for speed

And her favorite steel for the road.

My 7 y.o daugher first real bike.

MTB's are out of the picture...

Cool, thanks! I was going to get a Six 6, new but older model, but loved this black/white color combo and seems to hear good things about the 2012's.
