What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It looks like a 1990. White with red letters is what the 1990 Trek brochure lists as an available color option for the 1400.

Nice looking bike, I have a 1991 1400 that I just rebuilt this past fall.

There was only one version of Orca in 2008 (up to 2010). It wasn't like now where you have Silver, Gold or Bronze. In terms of carbon, this would be equivalent to today's Silver.

Ah, I did not know that. I am looking at Orca B105. How do you like your bike after 5 or so years?

I have the new Orca GRD but I still love the older Orca enough to keep her.

Portland Design Works ("PDW") Full Metal Fenders. Easy to install, high quality, but most importantly...they fit road bikes with tight clearances. They're designed around 23c tires, and I doubt they'd fit anything bigger.

Security is really tight at my work, so I have no concerns about leaving it locked up outside. Plus, it makes commuting more fun!

Trek 1400. Not sure what year.

Yes, it's probably a bit big on me... but it works for now.

Sorry for the poor iPhone picture.

What up twin brother?! It's a '90 model. I've got the original front wheel on since this pic. Great bikes.

Beautiful bike. If you don't mind my asking, is your Di2 battery mounted under the bottom bracket, or in the seat post? I've got a bunch of hardware on the way for mine, and I'm still debating the battery mount location.

Thanks. The battery is mounted under the bottom bracket. I've only done short trips around the neighborhood but Di2 is very nice and quiet.
