Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Was watching some cyclo-x, the dismount looks cool but how they just jump back on that bike looks downright scary. Power to ya

What saddle is that? Maybe it's just the photo, but the nose has a weird looking shape.

Hey guys! New to the site and thought this would be a good place to look to for answers. I am currently looking for a new road bike but am not sure what is a good deal. I have been looking at this https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/...lt_dt_xiii.htm bike. I can not afford something super expensive but would like a good quality bike. I ride for exercise and enjoyment but I also ride for a lot of charities. One in which is a 150 mile ride it two days. Does anyone have any input, suggestions, etc... Thank you!

I would think a carbon seat mast would be perfect on there but you pulled it off nicely with the matching stem
GF's are great frames!

Nice CAAD!
Before you get new pedals, remove the reflectors, & dork disc.

This is my new to me CAAD4 SR600. It's getting more road time than I anticipated because my primary ride is in the LBS awaiting bearings for the headset.

Here's my Fondriest TF3 1.2. Just finished the build today - attached is a picture after her maiden voyage. Initially, I bought the frame as an upgrade for my old bike, but things got a little out of control with the credit card, and I talked myself into a new DA9000 group and Easton EA90SLX wheelset.

The result is a little flashier than what I'm used to, but I really like the aggressive look of it. More importantly, the ride is amazing; very light and super stable.
