What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What road bike do you have?

Here is my Bianchi Veloce Reparto Corse 2003?2004? cromoly, not Aluminum, 105, 18 speed (weak, I know...) but it's not for competitions or anything, just training, so it's all good. I should probably not use these tires for training.

Shogun, love your bike.

Just got this Trek 1600 WSD Thursday, and even though it's entry-level, I love it!!

Look at this way - If I can drop this much change on a bike, then it's my decision to what I want to MY bike. Plus, some of the parts are temporarily on the bike.

There are a lot of commuter bikes;a mixture of flatbar road, MTB, folders and what we call MamaChari, which is basically a shopping bike.

Now as for the roadies, there are many but most are training out in the mountain roads so you don't see any hanging around the covenience stores in town etc. There are also many high school and university teams here which is great.

Interestingly, there are also a lot of Keirin riders training in the mountain areas here, which messes with your mind when they blow your doors off accending. Decending they are rooted though, he he he

If you want to see a collection of race bikes I have some pics here: https://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...007/?start=all

And bikes around town etc:

Some of the bikes posted are brilliant machines ... some brilliant machines, with wheel reflectors Hmmm.

I ride this 2002 Cannondale RW700 upgraded to Ultegra ... with a cumfy Terry Fly saddle.

Not worth as much as my car, but a gem to me, just the same.

Hey meng, do what you will. But Chris King does not approve.
