Baby got some new shoes....no really...shoes!!
This is my first proper pair of road shoes...I took a short ride on them yesterday....20 miles....felt stiff...I guess it will take a while to break in..again not sure...
I do really like the Boa closure system....very handy and I like the the fact that the knob is on the back....you pull the knob to loosen and push it in and then turn to tighten..way cool....
No velcro or laces
The BOA closure system....right to tighten the shoes and pull the knob to take off...when you pull the knob it releases all tention.
My Eggbeater 3 hole compatable cleats.
I will let you know how they do, if you have any questions please feel free to ask...

They should be stiff, this allows the x-fer of power to go into the pedals and not the bending of the shoe. Any flex, be it in your shoe or frame means you're wasting energy (force) into something other than the cranking of the... well, cranks.
I thought the same thing when I got my first pair, but you get used to it, plus it makes you more aware of HOW you are pedaling.
Anyway, its a whole new world to ya and you should enjoy it a lot.

Next time I take a pic I am going to purposely place things in the back ground...lol
Second ride was good....I rode well it must have been the shoes....my right toes felt a little squashed but I am sure I will get used to it...all else was good..

Congrats on the new kicks! I just got my Rocket7's in last week as well, new shoes rule. (I'd mimic your photo with the new shoes, Dell Inspiron and all but I can't seem to find my camera charger. Is that the 17"?)
