Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I don't know, but I sure as hell wouldn't go clicking that link in the auction if you're signed in.

Whatever's going on, it's scamtastic.

I would say A) bidder tried to enter $800 (since that's the going range for those wheels is 800-860) and added an extra zero or B) it's a scam and the seller is bidding himself with another account.

most likley B.

It's the wheel magnet - 100% unobtanium.

Ooo, and ball bearings. It's all ball bearings these days.

I just viewed some of this seller's other auctions, and many of them are bid up to ridiculous amounts. I think someone is specifically attacking this seller.

yeah, he's got 5 auctions at the $8000.00 mark, for stuff that's obviously not worth $8000.00, so i would say that someone's attacking him with hacked accounts...

The links lead to a "cannot connect to this website" message.

*will not be bidding*

Not necessarily someone attacking him. Could be money laundering, too.
