Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Frame Painters in CT area

I have an old steel frame I made many years ago that could use a new paint job. I've been away from cycling for a while, but was just thinking it might be nice to fix it up with a 10-speed group and get it back on the road. I last road it with old friction shifters back in the 1980s.

I shoulda bought that Centaur group on Ebay the other day ... darn

I guess I could ship it somewhere, but like the thought of dealing with someone local and chatting about colors. I'll need to braze cable stops of some kind on the down tube first if I can find some.

Is Betsy Weigle still painting ?? She did a nice job the first time.

Any favorite painters in the area ??
