Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I guess I need more bikes!

Right now I am down to two. My Trek 5900 is still back at Trek taking care of the headset problem. My Cannondale CAAD4 is now boxed up and ready to ship to NC for a ride I am doing on the 4th. All I have left to ride is my Spec. Allez SE steel bike and my Cannondale fixed gear. I guess I could ride my mtn. bike but it's been raining to much here lately. I need another road bike. The Pedal Force might be an option. The new Madone would be sweet. I am in the bike buying mood. Donations would be gladly accepted.

I am always looking for a good bargain in something Ti but have not found anything as of yet. My only new bike in the last 20 years was my mtn bike. Everything else has been used or done piecemeal. If I get the PF frame it will sit bare for a while I am sure. The Madone would require giving up one or more (probably many more) of my current rides. I already sold my Bridgestone MB1 to pay for my Reynolds DV's and it hurt a lot to give that one up.
