Helmet for "oval" heads?!
I have been searching for a better fitting helmet for years...thinking one will magically appear. I need help. It appears I have a very "oval" noggin as opposed to "round".
The only helmet I have ever owned that fit perfect was the old Specialized Sub 6, but everything else I have tried since is always too wide.
Giro - Pneumo, Atmos etc... I can move side to side a good 2-3 inches
Bell - Sweep, Ghisallo, forget it, even wider
Uvex - seem similar to Giro shape
Right now I am using a Specialized Decibel and it is close, but I have to add another layer of pads to the sides.
Any help, or recommendations is greatly appreciated.

Bell and Giro are the same company. Bell designs their helmets for more oval shaped head and Giro for more round shaped helmets. I'm surprised that Bell fits you less well as they are designed for your shaped head. I wore Giro's for years then tried the Bell and the fit was much better.

+1 on the bell fit for oval headed folk. Maybe a different model might work better for you.
El Diablo - that avatar - oh I think I'd like to see that full size...I can't read the print (yeah...). :-)
