Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Identify Road Frame

Hey all',

I was reading some article on google regarding bike serial number, but I really dont get how to read the code. My bike have this serial number under the BB shell: Y5K2698 and one of my other frame has: 5L0520. I pick them up for cheap but I am very curious what brand and year r they?

Cheer,
DUb.

I assume you don't know the brand? Do you have a picture, and are there any other stickers on the frame?

Wow you use google for something open ended like bike serial numbers, but don't use it for something specific like Yamaguchi bicycles.

Quit wasting my bandwidth with this inane search.
