Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

opinions needed on Zipp CSC Edition wheelset

my LBS is offering me this wheelset at very good price. if I buy it, the wheelset will be primarily used for training and (occasionally, maybe) for racing (C & B races).

Does anyone have any experience with this wheelset? Pros, cons?

Thank you!

I've read that its very similar to a DT swiss r1.1 with a Zipp label on it

A friend of mine has a pair and the hub is very quiet

I had a set for a good while. I found them to be very light, stiff wheels, that held up very well. I only sold them when I bought a Powertap, and I occasionally see the guy who bought them riding with them. If the price is reasonable, I would not hesitate.
