Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Your insight is needed regarding probikekit returns

What is the best way to go about returning an item?

Has anyone decided they wanted to return an item before it had arrived - and if so is there a way to "refuse" the delivery so that it is sent back? I returned a watch I bought online and I believe the carrier was fedex and when it came time to sign for the package I could decline it and they returned it to the seller without me having the hassle of taking it to the post to have it sent off again.

Any experiences (good and bad) with returning items to pbk would be appreciated!

I sent back $200 worth of stuff to PBK, and it "got lost". Unfortunately, I lost my insurance paperwork from the Post Office, so I'm out $200. Well, plus $24 in return shipping.

So....moral of the story. Don't lose your paperwork.

I no longer buy from PBK.

That's always my biggest worry with PBK. What if I need to return something? I bought a jersey once that was too tight and just sold it on Ebay instead of shipping it back. Not sure what happens if you refuse a package. ??

I returned a cycling short that was just too big for me. I did insure it though, and I had to "eat" the return postage and the insurance premium.

Regards,

The retrun went well once it got there. But it takea a long time and costs alot of money to ship. I bought a discounted jersey for around $32 and spend almost $30 dollars returning it.
