Sidi shoes...
are so awesome. I just replaced a pair of shimano mountain shoes with a pair of Sidi Blaze's, and the difference is night and day. I never thought that shoes would make this big of a difference. The stiffer sole of the sidi shoes seems to make a huge difference when climbing, and they are about 1,000 times more comfortable than the shimanos. Moral of the story: sidi shoes are worth every penny.

I just replaced my Shimano RO98s for some Sidis and can't complain. I think the euro sizes and mold fit my feet better.

Haha... speaking of wheels, I about wet myself last week at my lbs. I had just finished getting my fitting done for my bike and we had a few minutes left before the shop opened, so the dude helping me asked if I wanted to see something... he pulled out the lightest wheels I have ever seen and let me hold them! I can't believe they can make wheels that light. I have no idea what wheelset it was, but he said they were around $3000. Then he showed me a LOOK frameset that felt like nothing in my hands. I wish I was out of college so I could afford this crap... haha.

Lets just say if you're serious about affording this crap I highly advise that you end any serious relationship you are in now and go and get a vasectomy.
....I'm just saying.....(aham props)

Yeah, that's the thing... right now I am not married or in a relationship, so I have tons of time to cycle, but this is also when I can't afford the stuff... stupid catch 22s.

Later in life, you may be able to afford it, or you may not. If not, then you have no choice. But if you can afford it, you're next question is "Do I want to spend that kinda money on 'bike' stuff."
