9 spd Dura Ace?
I might ride a lot but my mechanical with bikes is still pretty green. I'm curious to know..... I currently ride 9spd on my training bike. It's all DA except the shifters. Am I able to install the new 10 speed shifters and have it work with my 9? Or do I have to change everything to ten speed?

10 speed shifters will not correctly shift a 9 speed cassette.
If you want to use 10 speed shifters, you will need a 10 speed cassette and narrower chain as well.

It would work with a Jtek shiftmate, but why not just throw a new cassete on for a few bucks more?

Yes they are and they're 105. The final piece I had to upgrade. I already have the DA chain on it (narrow) So I just swap cassette and shifters and that's all?

Apparently, that's all you need to do. See this chart I found on the Shimano website.

Thanks folks... swamped over here. Dunno why I didn't think of looking there. I guess ten speed it is.
