Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anybody else catch the Jan Ullrich joke in the second video? When his assistant opens the chocolate bar they say something to the effect of "oh, he is on the same training program as Jan" hahah nice.

p.s. Lance, buddy? Where is your helmet?

I'll try to dig up some more interesting clips.

In other news, I just downloaded a video of adult nature(nod nod, wink wink). Nothing special right? Well, the video is about a pro cycling team with an unorthodox method of training. They even spliced some clips of real pro bike races. LMAO!

This was in 2001 when helmets were not yet mandatory...

BTW...you can get the whole DVD for $14.95 from World Cycling Productions. And the DVD is the full version versus the one that they showed back then, on TV. And you get all the outtakes which are pretty good.

Want to get a good look at Armstrong's approach? In the opening scene where Bruyneel tells him, "there's no way you can ride..."
"Who says that?"
