Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Getting a new bike, under $600

Hey guys, im in Australia and have got a budget of $700 AUD, which equals $558 US (I know its tiny), but can stretch maybe a hundred dollars. I really don't know what to choose and would appreciate everyones input . I was thinking if I could find a cheap Felt F70, theres one on ebay and I hope to scoop it up for $500. Otherwise I really have no idea what bike to get, I'm only new to road bikes so I don't want to go out and spend heaps and find that I don't like it.

Thanks everyone!

Matt.

The Bay is a good source. Type in your favorite brand name or Reynolds 531/853, True Temper, Vitus or other top quality bike tubing. With some luck, you may find a steal! Good luck.
