New member here...question about sizing.
I searched around and couldnt really find the answers I was looking for, so I figured I'd come out of hiding and ask.
I'm 5'9. I found a good deal on a 52 Trek 5200. Is that frame way too small? Would there be any possibility of it fitting? I'm currently riding a 56 Trek 1200 (older) and it seems too big.
I'm still a relative newbie...just hoping for some insight.
Thanks!

I'm 5'7.5" and a 52cm is too small for me. At first, it seems to fit like a glove, but then the lower back and neck pain sets in a while later. Now I ride 54cm. It's funny, when I started riding, I had a 54cm frame but thought it was too big. After a month of acclimating to the road bike posture, 54cm fit just fine.

Start at https://www.competitivecyclist.com/
Do their custom fit calculator
start with those specs and go ride some bikes.
