Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Why do my Campy Mirage 8-Speed Shifters Rattle?

I have a beautiful 8-Speed 1997 De Bernardi that I bought from the owner who barley road the bike. It was like new. However, when I go over bumpy roads the Mirage shifters rattle quite a bit on the left side and a little on the right. Is this normal or can I do something about it?
