Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Williams Wheels

Does anyone have any experience or opinions on these wheels? For the price and weight they seem like a good deal. Throw in ceramic bearings and it seems even better. Although, I don't know if "hybrid ceramic bearings" are the same as ceramic bearings.
Any real life feedback on these?

Thanks,
Roger

No experience with the wheels but I have seen many good reviews. Hybrid bearings are usually ceramic ball bearings in a steel race. If they were full ceramics they would have ceramic races too.

The downside to these wheels is they will make all your other wheels suck. I've been on 19's since earlier this year, a fantastic product that I can not say enough good stuff about.

I use the 19s and there good. To be honest there a little expensive for what you get.

I have unfortunately ridden a couple of Williams wheels, not unfortunate for riding them but getting them after flatting or cracking one of my carbon wheels. They offer neutral support at a lot of the Nor-Cal races and they are fantastic. Nothing like getting a wheel swap and a hold from the owner, that’s race support.

If I was in the market for another wheelset they would be on my list.

I've got the 30s and love em. Spin up smoothly and I was able to coast away in the first RR I used them in. Nice not having to go out and buy rim tape and it came with new brake pads. Can't say enough good things about em.

Hate the fact I just bought a Powertap and can't use them now.

I've been using the 19's all year and they're great. I have a couple teammates with the 30's and carbon 50's and they're really happy with them.

The customer service is superb too.
