Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Very nice ride, but I would change some things, the bar tape should be Black, you have toooo many water cages, and you need some red continental 4000 Grand Prix tires... next is the link for the water cages, they will look very nice on your bike trust me...

https://www.performancebike.com/shop/...tegory_ID=4342

Other than that very nice Bike!!!!!!!!!!!!

In a race this year, there was a prime for several rolls of bar tape. They were ringing the bell rather loudly, so all I heard was "rolls...bar tape.." as we went through the S/F.

As we come through at the end of the lap, with 200m to go I'm coming around the guy in front of me out of a corner. I thought, "Hell, you can always use bar tape down the road." But, I hear a teammate who was warming up for the P/1/2 race scream "It's f***ing URBAN CAMO! STOP!"

I had to swerve off the front and stop pedalling in order to let others around me. The guy behind me did the same. We latched onto the back of the guys still going for it, and then countered around them once they hit the line and slowed. Started the winning break.

Never been so pleased that I didn't win a prime. I wouldn't have been able to GIVE that stuff away.

Mine weighs in at 17.6 on the LBS scale with pedals and cages. I have old Look A5.1 pedals (kinda heavy) and Roval Star Fusee wheels (kinda heavy, but darned aero....). Great bike though, I love mine!!! I went with a black saddle and black tape though....

I think you'll find various sources willing to disagree with that statement.

Reminds me of a good one...

All the little sperms are working out, getting ready for the big day. But one little guy is really ambitious and wants to be THE ONE. So, he spends extra time in the sperm gym, does his speed work and intervals and even takes a little EPO.

So, the big day comes and, BAM, they're off. The hard-trainer immediately pulls away and soon the others completely lose sight of him, but they all keep swimming along.

A little while later they look up and there's the hard-trainer coming straight back at them, full tilt. He's screaming "GO BACK! GO BACK! IT'S A ****JOB!".

Nice bike. I thought Torelli or Performance made red and black tape. Torelli makes a white/graytape...just saying. In any event, the bright white will become grungy soon enough.

Maybe not. I'm gonna try spraying it with Scotch Guard - maybe it'll clean up.
