Q about Ordering from PBK

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Q about Ordering from PBK

Hey everyone,

I'm sure you all know about PBK's free US shipping policy, but for those that live in the US and have ordered from them, do they still charge the flat 15 pound fee as international export/import tax?

I'm thinking about buy a $10 product, but would be bummed if they charged me $30 for shipping.

And yes, I emailed CS, but they apparently aren't as fast as I thought they would be.....

Thank you.

I've ordered from them maybe three times and never been charged shipping, tax, import fees, etc.

All three orders arrived within a week, with one order getting here in three business days.

I've never paid any fees/duties/taxes when ordering from PBK. My experiences with them have been quick and painless.

I'm a satisfied customer, although my orders have taken a 1 1/2 weeks or so. I'm not in a rush, so I don't mind.

Seems silly for us in the UK to Mail order from any UK based Company but PBK do have some very special prices on some items. Seeing as how UK prices are generally a lot more than the US- I would normally think about Buying from the US.

One thing I can assure you of though- PBK are a genuine- honest company with a good reputaion in the UK. So if you do buy from them- You are dealing with a good company.

Here under international orders (it's actually 12 pounds flat, not the aforementioned 15 pounds).

6 days at most for several items I've ordered on the West Coast. It's very fast, and it's free.

I have ordered many times from PBK...

Free shipping to the US (they had a period of $10 shipping)...

I have received the items in no more than 8 working days...

I ordered a KMC chain and 2 tubes yesterday...

x2, just got my last order yesterday. Only additional charge I have ever gotten when ordering from pbk is a currency exchange fee charged by Master Card.

I have ordered a good 10 times from them, one of the times was about 200 dollars in parts. I got everything exactly the way I expected and did not pay anything for shipping. Be lenient, give them a week to send it.
